A Car

A car is is a tunnel,

A crack in the wall,

A way out,

The ladder out of the well which you have fallen in.

A car is when you leave on Friday,

Without even a thought of Monday.

The unlocked door,

That is bound to lock again.

A car is when your parents leave town,

And you are left to your own,

Without a thought of what you will do,

But just that you can do it.

A car is that little amount of time,

Between large spaces,

The memories of no significance,

That you never forget.
